Lisa Kitko

Lisa Kitko, PhD, RN, FAHA, FAAN, is the Associate Dean for Graduate Education and an Associate Professor in the Penn State College of Nursing. Dr. Kitko has extensive clinical research experience with the palliative care needs of persons living with complex chronic conditions and their family caregivers, especially in the context of advanced heart failure. Dr. Kitko was awarded a prestigious 2015 Josiah S. Macy Jr. Faculty Scholarship to develop an interdisciplinary postgraduate certificate program in palliative care.
