Staying physically active can help you stay strong and maintain function, allowing you to do What Matters. Changes in Mobility have profound implications on our social, psychological, and physical health. Small changes in how you are getting around could be a sign of an underlying health condition.

Changes in Mobility

While it may not be the first thing you want to talk about, tell your healthcare provider if you are nervous about falling or have had a fall. It can be hard to tell your healthcare provider about falls. You may be worried about losing independence or maybe you feel embarrassed, but your healthcare team can help with prevention and strengthening. Informing your healthcare team is the most important thing you can do to prevent recurrent falls.
