Age-Friendly Care for Healthcare Professionals

A movement to create Age-Friendly Health Systems is underway in the United States. Becoming an Age-Friendly Health System entails reliably providing a set of four evidence-based elements of high-quality care, known as the “4Ms,” to all older adults in your system: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. This course will explain the 4Ms Framework in detail, and provide resources to enable you to implement evidence-based, geriatric best practices that correspond to each of the 4Ms.
